We have looked at sets in previous classes and in this class, we are going to recap sets. At the end of this recap lesson, you will be able to; a) define a set and b) Identify different types of sets. You will need to have an exercise book, a pen, a pencil to follow through this lesson by writing and drawing objects.
What is a set?
Note: Sets occur naturally and artificially. In both ways, sets are collected according to their related properties and uses. The objects in a set are called elements.
Flocks of sheep, herds of cattle, garden tools, and scholastic materials like pens, pencils, and books are some of these sets.
In this lesson some key words to consider are: Set, equal, equivalent, subset, proper subset, intersection union, difference, universal, complement.
